After breaking my pair of Sony Headphones in frustration of watching my favorite hockey team (Chicago Blackhawks) loose a game. I was suddenly in the market for a new pair.
I came across the Urbanears Plattane headphones at my local Best Buy and I’ll admit, the low price and stylish look had me sold. After using them for a month I figured I would do a Urbanears Plattan Review for y’all.
The Good:
They look cool. Plus having the added microphone is great for when I’m on the phone or playing a game. They also have an extra output so that you can share what you’re listening with your friend (something I don’t see myself doing though).
The Bad:
Well you cant expect too much from a $30 pair of headphones.
The sound quality is ok…
They tend to pinch your ears and are uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.
Would I recommend these to a friend?
Probably not. If I could go back I would have bought another pair of the Sony MDR-150. They had a better sound and are a lot more comfortable to wear.
